Xanthe Highfield has a background as a a multidisciplinary spatial designer & stylist; working across film, TV, commercials, interiors, events and stills.

She now runs her own interior design company www.studiohighfield.com.

She has a BA in Media and Communications (visual) from UNSW and was one of four students accepted into the Masters masters program in Production Design from The Australian Film TV Radio School.

Xanthe won an AFI (Australian Film Institute Award) in Outstanding Achievement in Screencraft for Production Design,

She was a finalist in the Production Design guide awards and has been on the craft judging panel for design for Inside Film awards. Xanthe has Art Directed and Production Designed for the ABC, SBS, Foxtel’s Comedy Channel and on many TVCs and music videos.

She has been featured in Real Living Magazine as part of the New Guard ‘designer to watch' Frankie 'Spaces' magazine and an artwork she Art Directed for Baz Luhrmann was featured in Vogue Living.

Xanthe has been shortlisted twice as emerging designer of the year for her interiors practice Studio Highfield in the Interior Design Excellence awards.

Xanthe is a member of the Design Institute of Australia
